The Capital One® Savor® Cash Rewards Credit Card is a new card that provides the "no hassle" rewards that Capital One is known for, especially if your spending falls into the restaurant and dining out categories. In fact, the newest addition to the Capital One line of rewards cards offers one of the highest cash back rates on these types of purchases. If you frequently spend in these categories, this is one rewards card you want to be sure is in your wallet. (See also: Best Credit Cards for Dining Out)

Why We Like This Card

  • $300 one-time cash bonus offer
  • Unlimited 4% cash back on dining

How This Card Works

This card awards unlimited 4% cash back on dining and entertainment, 2% on grocery store purchases, and 1% on all other purchases. (See also: Best Credit Cards for Groceries)

Bonus. Earn a one-time $300 cash bonus after you spend $3000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening (See also: Best Cards that Offer Bonus Cash for Sign-Up)

Your rewards do not expire, and you can redeem your cash back at any time, in any amount. You can request a statement credit or a check, or you can set up automatic redemption for a set time each calendar year or once you have reached a specific reward amount.

Other Benefits

Complimentary concierge. This card includes complimentary concierge services for help with booking travel, making dining reservations, shopping, and more, 24 hours a day.

Identity theft services. If you are a victim of identity theft, this card also offers many identity theft resolution services.

Travel benefits. You get additional travel benefits such as complimentary room upgrades, access to a portfolio of World Elite Hotels & Resorts, travel protection, and more.

Extended warranty. When you use this card for your purchases, you can qualify for additional warranty protection on those purchases at no charge.

Price protection. If an item you purchase with your card is found within 120 days of purchasing at a lower price, you can get reimbursed for the price difference.

    Considerations

Primarily for dining out. You earn the most cash back when you dine out, which won’t be much if this is an expense you have just a few times per year. If your spending is more likely to fall into other categories like gas or airfare, you will earn more cash back with cards that focus on those categories or with flat rate rewards cards that award a higher rate for all purchases. Who This Card Is Best For

This card is best for those whose spending is primarily dining out in restaurants and grocery store purchases. Unlike other cards that award these types of purchases, this card has no cap or limit on the amount of cash back you can earn. Also, because there is no foreign transaction fee, it’s a great card to use if you frequently travel abroad or need to make foreign purchases. It also comes with a number of extra benefits and perks that make traveling and shopping more comfortable.
